How does Munchkin work?
Monsters. If drawn face-up, during the Kick Open The Door phase, they immediately attack the person who drew them. If acquired any other way, they go into your hand and may be played during your own turn to Look For Trouble, or played to join another player’s fight with the Wandering Monster card.
How do you set up munchkin?
Kick Open the Door
- Draw a card from the door deck.
- If it’s a monster – fight it. Then your turn ends.
- If it’s a curse – it hits you. Then Look For Trouble or Loot the Room.
- If it’s any other card – put it in your hand. Look For Trouble or Loot the Room.
How many cards do you start with in Munchkins?
Deal four cards from each deck to each player. Keep separate face-up discard piles for the two decks. You may not look through the discards unless you play a card that allows you to!
Can Munchkin be played with 2 players?
You can play Munchkin with 2 players just fine, it’s just not quite as much fun. In my experience it’s a lot less fun simply because it eliminates the “alliance” aspect of a game with lots of players.
