What are the rules of pit?

Pit has no turns, and everyone plays at once. Players trade commodities among one another by each blindly exchanging one to four cards of the same type. The trading process involves calling out the number of cards one wishes to trade until another player holds out an equal number of cards.

How many cards do you get in the pit?

EQUIPMENT One deck of 74 cards – 8 suits of 9 cards each, plus a Bull card and a Bear card, and a trading bell. SET UP There are two versions of PIT. The basic game is played without the Bull and Bear cards. Remove them from the deck if you want to play the basic game.

Can you play pit with 2 players?

Pit can be played by three to seven players. For larger parties, please refer to “ Pit As A Party Game.” To play the basic version, remove the Bull and Bear cards from the deck. Place the trading bell in the center of the table and select one player to shuffle the deck and deal out nine cards to each player.
